DIRECTOR

Andrea Elliott

Andrea Elliott established the Eastern Suburbs Tutoring Centre in 1995. With over 20 years experience in education, Andrea's background covers primary education, secondary education and special education. She has lectured at University in the area of Special Education and has worked extensively with the NSW Department of Education and Training. As well as presenting at conferences and inservices Andrea has worked with the three key educational agencies in NSW - Department of Education and Training, Catholic Education, and Association of Independent Schools.

TUTORS

Aldo Fedato

Aldo has been a tutor at the Centre for 10 years. He has a Diploma of Teaching (Primary), Post Graduate Diploma in English as a Second Language (ESL), Bachelor of Fine Arts and speaks fluent Italian. Aldo is an accredited teacher with the NSW Department of Education and Training.
Aldo brings to the Centre a wealth of teaching experience, including teaching in South Australia and 10 years teaching at Waverley College. His areas of expertise include primary teaching, ESL, Ancient History, Art, Art History and Italian Language.

Cengiz Kici

Cengiz has been teaching mathematics for over 12 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Teaching. His areas of expertise include all levels of senior maths with particular interest in HSC Maths to Extension 2 level. He is an accredited teacher with the NSW Department of Education and Training. Cengiz is currently studying for a Master of Quantative Finance degree.

Tessa Kennedy

Since graduating Dux of St Catherine's School Waverley in 2004, Tessa has tutored high school students both privately and at Eastern Suburbs Tutoring Centre. Her areas of expertise include senior maths and science, including chemistry. As a past student of the Centre, Tessa brings a unique understanding of the needs of students who are attending tutoring. Tessa is currently completing her Medical Degree at the University of NSW.

Sang Hwang

Sang Hwang is one of the maths and science tutors at the Centre. His areas of expertise include senior maths, physics, chemistry and biology. He has worked as a tutor for 4 years. Sang is currently completing his Medical degree. When not tutoring or studying he enjoys studying languages. He is a fluent French speaker and is currently studying Spanish and Arabic. Sang has also spent time traveling as a volunteer with Youth Challenge Australia.  

Sophie Connolly

Sophie Connolly has tutored students from all years of high school both privately and at Eastern Suburbs Professional Tutoring. Her areas of expertise include senior mathematics, physics, chemistry and English. Sophie is currently completing her medical degree at the University of New South Wales. Sophie brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to the centre.
